Embossed Worsted Wool Studio Coat

Based on the function and style of a 19th c. Painter's smock, the studio coat is made with Thistle Hill Weavers over-run fabric, and is finished with velvet ribbon. The fabric is worsted wool with an embossed weaving technique. It is medium weight and sturdy. Ideal for cool weather, wearing indoors, or as a layer. The Studio Coat is handmade by a small network of women in New York City.
