Hale Meeting House Venetian Carpet
Salter House collaborated with Rabbit Goody and her expert workshop in upstate New York, Thistle Hill Weavers, to create a limited run of rugs. Each piece is cut from the excess ‘overrun’ of historic reproduction carpets, which Rabbit regularly creates for film and historic house museums. These can be used as area rugs, runners, or for the entry. They can be washed cold and tumbled to dry. Made of wool.
The Hale Meeting House Carpet is a Venetian pattern characterized by its vertical thread warp. A 19th Century pattern. Reproduced by Thistle Hill for the Hale Farm and Village Meetinghouse in Ohio.
89" x 44" inches.
