Gifts for Hosts (our top recommendations)
This holiday season, if you are visiting family or attending a holiday party, and looking for a little guidance on a gift for the host, here are my recommendations... – Sandeep Salter

Some may consider gifting a scented candle cliché and unimaginative—and this may be accurate—but I find that people genuinely love receiving them, I know I always do. I think it quite literally warms a room with its light and scent... We make our candles here in Brooklyn, and Bathers is my favourite; it makes me feel pampered.

Neutral linens can be adopted happily into any kitchen or table setting, and you can always use extra tea towels! Recently, I gifted our Pewter Chamberstick as a housewarming present to a friend who values objects with a story and loves history. Our pewterware is made using original 18th and 19th century molds, so they are new objects crafted using traditional methods.

How nice that whenever your friend cracks open a bottle in their home, they'll think of you! A corkscrew should, of course, be accompanied by a bottle of wine. Our Sommelier Knives are stamped with the Salter House bunny.

For my close friends, Nightgowns are the go-to gift. We've converted many New Yorkers into nightgown devotees, so when I'm the guest, it's a perfect time to gift a fresh one.

Happy Holidays!
