These food-safe traditional pewter pieces have been created for Salter House by one of the few remaining American makers of pewter tableware. Each heirloom design is hand-forged at a family foundry using antique molds and traditional period methods.
The deep plate, is an early American design referred to as a "bean bowl," cast in an 18th Century antique mold. Great for soups, pastas, or grits. It measures 8 inches in diameter and 1 inch deep.
